LM5K Run/Walk for Women and Children

The Lee Ann Mannillo Foundation will dedicate the proceeds of the 2018 LM5K to a local family rocked by the devastating loss of Christina Murphy. Just weeks after their second child was born, Joe Murphy is grieving the loss of his wife Christina while working to care for their two young boys. The loss of Christina deeply moved the LAMF Board to dedicate the 2018 LM5K to Joe and his sons.

The LM5K is run in honor of the spirit of compassion & community that Lee embodied.

This annual 5k run/walk has generated support for both the Lee Ann Mannillo Foundation and a separate fund to enhance our regional impact through the efforts and talent of Cape Cod Child Development (CCCD). Thanks to the success of this event we have distributed close to $10,000 to support families in need directly through our foundation’s grants and gone even further through resources provided by the CCCD Lee Ann Mannillo Sunshine Fund.
